Shopping in Vatican

Souvenirs are excellent items to remember your trip to the Vatican City. There are plenty of souvenir shops around St. Peter's Cathedral. One of the most popular items, sold in the shops, is the stone sculpture. Among other purchases there are beautiful religious objects, replicas of ancient metal bookmarks with fancy carvings, crucifixes, cross pendants, rosaries, and medallions. A lot of other religious paraphernalia, statues, and prayer cards are also sold. You can buy an empty (plastic) bottle for Holy Water, which is usually Mary shaped. Then fill in the bottle with the holy water.
